Mrs. Frieda McGrady King, of Sycamore, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family and friends. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 15 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mike Owen officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald King; daughter, Shonda Strickland; son, Shane King; two grandsons, Nick Strickland and Ryan Strickland; brother, Andy McGrady; sisters, Rita Machen and Connie Reeves; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James O. McGrady and Mary Traywick McGrady. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ribbons of Hope Foundation.
