Monica Marie (nee: Meyer) Thompson, 67, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Hospice of Butler/Warren Counties. Born in Cincinnati on March 5, 1948 to Stan & Helen (nee: Goderwis) Meyer, she was a 1966 graduate of Mother of Mercy High School and worked as a pharmacy technician for Winn-Dixie until 2003.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Dennis Thompson, three sons, Jesse Walker (Ava) of Indianapolis, IN, Lance Walker (Donna) of Liberty Twp., and Andrew Thompson (Nichole) of Mason, two daughters, Tuesday Walker Tedesco (Gary) of Bridgetown and Robbin Walker of Lebanon, two brothers, Cliff Meyer (Donna) of Cleves and Carl Meyer of Cincinnati, two sisters, Helen Reinshagen (John) of Bright, IN and Marlena Bimmerle (Chuck) of Dallas, TX, and eighteen grandchildren. Monica was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Vera Meyer.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 12th, 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM, at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon, followed by funeral services, at 11:00 AM, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Lebanon. Father Bernard Weldishofer will officiate and interment will follow in Turtlecreek Township Cemetery.
