Sharon “Sherry” Carroll, 58, of Lumberport passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on June 9, 1959 in Arlington, VA to the late Sanford and Shirley Chrislip Straight. Sherry was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Carroll on March 30, 2016.
Sherry is survived by their children, Michael Carroll and his wife Nicole of Bridgeport; Travis Carroll and his wife Jennifer of Cambria; her brother, Melvin “Sandy” Straight of Shinnston; brother-in-law, Bill Carroll of Ohio; Sisters-in-law, Mary Strawser and her husband Ed of Ohio; Pamela Harvey and her husband Dave of Mannington; and 4 grandchildren, Aden Carroll; Isabelle Carroll; Cameron Heston; and Chelsea Floyd.
Sherry worked at Rite-Aid and Shop-N-Save. She was a member of the Sons of American Legion and the Orioles Club. Sherry enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11 AM with Rev.
