Mrs. Lena E. Bryans, 72, Sioux City, died Friday at an Omaha hospital after a long illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Nelson Berger Morningside Chapel. The Rev. Omar W. Pettersen will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Bryans, the former Lena E. Sulsberger, was born on January 31, 1911, at Hornick. She married Robert Bryans on March 22, 1932, at Sioux City. He died on December 11, 1954. She had been a resident of Sioux City for 50 years and had worked at Younker’s Department Store from 1959 to 1975 as manager of the drapery work room. She was a member of Whitfield United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Fuller of Council Bluffs, and Mary Ellen Powers of Phoenix, Ariz., a brother Charles Sulsberger of Anthon, a sister, Lucy Smith of Whiting and four grandchildren.
