FORMER TEACHER DIES
ISHPEMING - Miss Nina McDowell, former Ishpeming school teacher, died in her home Tuesday following a month's Illness. She was born in Woodstock, Ill., and came to this city when a small child.
Miss McDowell taught in Ishpeming's public school system for many years, starting when Professor Afcott was superintendent. She retired three years ago.
