Recitation of Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Mrs. Dora Menchaca Hernandez and her son, Ignacio M. Jr., victims of a two-car collision Sunday near Tonapah on Interstate 10. Mrs. Hernandez, 45, died Sunday. Ignacio Jr. died Monday in St. Joseph Hospital, Phoenix.

Mrs. Hernandez was born April 1, 1929 in Casa Grande. She was a homemaker and lifetime resident.

She is survived by her husband, Ignacio, of Casa Grande; her sons: Carlos, Mike and Samuel, all of Casa Grande; her daughters: Mrs. Maggie Soto, of Lompoc, CA, Rosemary Valenzuela, Jenny and Teresa Hernandez, and Adela Garza, all of Casa Grande.

Both Mr. Hernandez Sr. and Samuel, 10, are still hospitalized from the accident.

Other survivors are her father, George Menchaca, of Casa Grande; her brothers: Thomas and Ernie Menchaca, both of Fresno, CA; her sisters: Rita Leija, of Fresno, Helen Armenta and Jennie Lugo, both of Casa Grande; and five grandchildren.

Ignacio M. Jr. was born Sept. 10, 1952 in Casa Grande. A lifelong resident, he was a 1971 graduate of Casa Grande Union High School. He was employed as a miner.

Mr. Ignacio Jr. is survived by his father, Ignacio Sr.; his brothers: Carlos, Mike and Samuel; his sisters: Maggie Soto, of Lompoc, CA, Adela Garza, Rosemary Valenzuela, Jenny and Teresa Hernandez, all of Casa Grande; and his maternal grandfather, George Menchaca, of Casa Grande.

Cole and Maud Mortuary, 215 S. Washington St., is in charge of arrangements.
