Diana Marie Ross Holt, 55, of 54 Misty Ridge Lane, passed away, Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at her residence. She was born September 11, 1951 in Waynesboro, the daughter of the late William Ross, Sr. and Geraldine Taylor Conroy and her husband, Phil of Applevalley, California.
Mrs. Holt was retired from the E. I DuPont Company.
In addition to her mother and step-father, she is survived by her husband, Gary L. Holt, children, Leslie Fitzgerald, Nichole Mays, Jerri Berry, James "Buck" Fitzgerald and his wife, Carrie, four stepchildren, Javon, Yolanda, Gary Holt, Jr., and Cavaja Holt, grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Brandon, Jordan, Hunter, Braelynn and Chesney, two step grandchildren, Missy and Shay Mays and two great step grandchildren, Patience and Kylie, two sisters, Dale Hewitt and her husband, Wilbur of Waynesboro, Alfreda Crews of Perry, FL, three brothers, Billy Ross and his wife, Kaye, and Dickie Ross and his wife, Polly of Waynesboro, Doug Clark of Roanoke and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, January 8, 2007 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service by Pastor Billy Coffey. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be M. C. Shirley, Randy Patterson, David Ross, Junior Ross, Carl Holt, Ray Holt and C. J. Holt.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8 PM Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro. "
