Allen Cleo Burroughs, 84, of Cordova, TN passed away Monday, November 6, 2017. He was a retired air traffic controller with the F.A.A. after 30 years of service, retired from ADESA after 20 years of service, veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict, a member of Oliver Creek Church of Christ, and loved farming with his son-in-law Willie German at German Farms. Mr. Burroughs was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Burroughs; and is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Elavon Burroughs; his daughters, Lucinda German (Willie) of Somerville, TN, Jana Whitt (Don) of Covington, TN, Allyson Hauss (Gregg) of Chattanooga, TN; his step-children Debby Black (Joe) of Germantown, TN, Lyle McElyea of Arlington, TN and Dawn Norman (Shane) of Collierville, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy German (Shauna), Jeff German (Stephanie), Jacob German, Allen Antoine, Dillon Antoine, Donnie Whitt (Rachel), Kimberlee Brooks (Stephen), Stephen Hauss (Molly), Callie Hauss, Rachel Graves (Corey), Ty Black, Ainsley Norman, and Caleb Norman; great grandchildren, Chandler German, John Bradley German, Evie Antoine, Thomas German and Luke Brooks; sister-in-law, Julie Burroughs of Northport, AL. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN.
