Melissa Hawkins, born May 14, 1981, of Nashville, TN, passed away November 8, 2017 in Davidson County at the age of 36. She is preceded in death by her sister, Michelle Mayes, grandparents, James Robert Mayes, Mildred Mayes, and step-grandad, EH Webb.

She is survived by her husband, Darrin Hawkins, children, Cadin, Kaylann, & Korryn Hawkins; step-daughter, Dalenna Hawkins; parents, Davy (Tanya) Mayes, Sheila (Jeff) Eldridge; Mother in law, Judy McKenna; grandparents, Sue Webb, Robert & Jan Davis; sisters, LeeAnn (Jeremy Spain) Mayes, Gracie Eldridge; brothers, Austin Mayes, Jeffrey Eldridge; nephew, Derek Spain and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving friends.

Melissa had a kind spirit. She loved spending time with her children and loved helping others. She also enjoyed her time when she was a caregiver to the elderly.

Visitation with the family will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home from 4-8PM on Monday, November 13, 2017. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 1:00PM with 11-1 visitation prior.
