Born in Newfield, he was son of Uriah Doll, a pioneer lumberman and Almira Smith Doll.
Mr. Doll was a haberdasher and proprietor of a men's furnishings store in College Town.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Apphia Cable Doll; two grandsons, John Doll of Ithaca and Peter Doll of Trumansburg; a granddaughter, Mrs. Shirley Woods, Riverside, California; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Edna Bellis of Binghamton; nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services were held in the Wagner Funeral Home. The minister from the First Congregational Church officiated. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.
Bearers: Paul Bradford, Prof. C.L. Walker, James D. Turner, Robert Kellogg, Harry Baker, and John Doll.
