Mrs. Carol Jean (Salo) Moore, of Eugene OR, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the age of 66 at Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield OR, following a brief illness.
Carol was born to parents Paul and Ellen (Niemi) Salo on January 8, 1951 in Winton MN. She grew up in Babbitt MN and graduated in 1969 from JFK Senior High.
In 1969, she married her high school sweetheart, David McCormick. Carol worked as a cosmetologist in Ely MN for several years. In 1980 she moved with Dave and their children to Eugene OR. They were later divorced.
Carol married Raymond Moore in 1990 in Cannon Beach OR.
Carol is survived and will be missed every day by her husband, Ray Moore. Her daughter, Jacqueline (Brian) Harris of Brentwood CA, her son, Bruce McCormick (partner Craig Holley) of Eugene OR. Her sister, Corrine (Randall) Mahlman of Owatonna MN and her brother, Kevin Salo of Soudan MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
