RICHARD B. LAYMAN SR., 70, of Sidney, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 in Sidney. He was born on April 24, 1947 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Francis and Mary Layman.

On April 20, 2000 Richard married Linda (Blair) who survives along with one son, Brent Layman of Indiana, one daughter, Dana Woods of Indiana, adopted son, Nick Layman of Nevada, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Garry and Jerry Layman.

Mr. Layman was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran, serving his country from 1967 to 1975. He retired from Ross Aluminum in 2011 and was currently working as a driver for NAPA Auto Parts. He attended Grace Baptist Church in Sidney. He loved classic cars and enjoyed wood working.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 1 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Pastor Jim Alter officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.
