Michael David Flowers passed away at his home on October 12, 2017. He was born July 11, 1960 to David Lee Flowers and Eileen Mable Travis in Murray, Utah. Michael was one of 8 children.
Michael loved his family very much. He spent many hours golfing, camping, fishing, and hiking. Michael was a hardworking man and enjoyed working as a loss control manager for Kmart for more than 20 years. He was a dedicated Steelers fan and also loved watching and participating in all other sports. One of his children’s favorite memories with him was a day out golfing where he was tipped out of the golf cart.
He is survived by his children William (Phalin), Lee (Jordyn), Andrew (Heather), Kyle (Michelle), and Alexis; grandchildren Kaden, Tanner, Ashton, Lyla, Jessa, and Addison; and siblings Steve (Nancy), Bob (Marie), Tom (Stacy), Don (Beth), Kathy Weaver, and sister-in-law Vickie Flowers. He was preceded in death by siblings J.T. and Kenny.
A viewing will be held at the Westbrook chapel (6500 S Dixie Dr., West Jordan, UT 84084) on Tuesday, October 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 18th from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the Westbrook chapel. Interment will be at the West Jordan cemetery.
