CHESAPEAKE - Daniel T. Felton Sr., 78, of the 1300 block of East Eva Blvd., departed this life March 24, 2007. Born in Hertford, N.C., he was employed with Norfolk Naval Shipyard for more than 25 years until his retirement.
He was a former member of First Baptist Church Bute Street and a Korean War veteran.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Catherine Felton. Survivors include his son, Daniel T. Felton Jr. and wife Brenda of Houston, Texas; a sister, Mildred Wynn of Chicago; a brother, Edward Felton of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Catherine D. Felton and DeMarcus T. Felton of Houston; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
