Thomas is the son of Jean-Baptiste Cote and Genevieve Verdon. His baptismal record says that he was born 28 March 1707 and baptized on 1 March 1707, so there is an error on the record on one of the two dates. He married (1) Genevieve Simard dit Lombrette on 8 January 1733, in Baie-St-Paul. There are no children listed for this couple on PRDH.
