Nancy, 74, of Dexter, Michigan, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 5, 2017. She was the daughter of Leslie G. and Henrietta (Kamp) Taylor.

She was a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church for 40 years. Nancy loved working as a nurse in geriatrics which she did for over 30 years. She enjoyed embroidery, camping, traveling, gardening, flowers, canning, her dogs Mei-Li and Oberon, and spending time with her daughters and family.

Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca D. (Richard E.) Ferrett and Melisa (Paul) Smith, and her brother-in-law Randal Merrow. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, L. Curtis Haynes; her parents, Leslie George Taylor and Henrietta “Retta” Brockman; and her sister, Sue Merrow.

A Funeral Service was held on Friday, November 10, 2017, at the Dexter United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Snyder officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or National Breast Cancer Foundation.
