Tacoma resident Benjamin J. Hubbard died peacefully on Oct. 11, 2005 at age 92. Ben (or Bonny, as he was known) was born in Tacoma on Sept. 22, 1913 and lived here most of his life. He worked as a conductor on the Milwaukee Railroad for 43 years and was a life member of the Tacoma Elks Lodge.
