Paul Watters, age 83 years, 11 months, and 23 days, of the Wolf Creek community passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Signature Health Care Center in Pine Knot, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Earl Davis, Jr. and Bro. Terry West officiating. Burial was in the Corder Cemetery.
He was born November 18, 1933 in Wolf Creek to Elmer Watters and Dorothy Bryant Watters. Paul regularly attended Mountain View Baptist Church, Wolf Creek Baptist Church, White Oak Junction Baptist Church, and Hilltop Baptist Church and had worked as a logger with Watters Logging Company before his retirement. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his work. Paul also enjoyed hunting, fishing, ginseng hunting, and watching softball and UK sports.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brother, Harold Watters, and sisters, Betty Jo Stephens and Lois Ann Burke.
Survivors include brothers, Bill Watters and his wife, Juanita, and Roger Carl Watters and his wife, Janice, sister, Glenna Mae Durkee, and several nieces and nephews.
