Paul L. Wilkinson Sr. was born December 28, 1929 to Harold and Effie (Templeton) Wilkinson in Brooks, Iowa.
He died Thursday, November 9th 2017 at Community Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, Nebraska, at the age of 87 years, 10 months, and 12 days.
Paul served in the United States Army from 1947 until 1949. He met and married Helen Wagner on August 22, 1953, in Shartlesville, Pennsylvania, and to this union they raised 7 children: Paul Jr., Allen, Tim, Greg, Robert, Lori, and Eldon.
He always loved trucks and started driving in the army and did that for the rest of his life.
Paul is survived by his children: Paul and Lynn Wilkinson Jr., Tim and Monica Wilkinson, Greg and Jerilyn Wilkinson, Robert and Lora Wilkinson, Lori and Shawn McElhenie, and Eldon Wilkinson, 24 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and brothers Roland and Bob Wilkinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen, son Allen, granddaughter Ronica, sister Letha, and brothers Ernie and Harold Jr.
Funeral service will be Monday, November 13, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church – Otoe, Nebraska, with burial at the Otoe Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 9A.M. till 9 P.M.
