George attended Fairview Christian Community Church. He retired from Princeton Fire Department, was owner and operator of Harman’s Barber Shop in Princeton for many years and was one of the last licensed barbers in West Virginia. He enjoyed working on his farm.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Betty Bailey Harman; one son, John Harman and wife Stacey of Princeton and two granddaughters, Victoria Mullins and Sabrina Mullins both of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Dyer and David Barnette officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where George’s friends from the Princeton Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
