Dawn Elaine Webb Dooley, 42, of Roanoke County, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 22, 2000 after a short illness.

Dawn was preceded in death by her father, George Robert Webb and her brother, William Timothy Webb.

She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and was an active member of Cave Spring Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and a one of a kind friend to all who knew her. Dawn always had a warm, friendly smile and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her husband, Keith I. Dooley of Roanoke County; daughter, Kerry Dawn Dooley of the home; mother, Nita N. Webb; and brother, Mark S. Webb of Roanoke County; mother-in-law and husband, Wanda and Downey Ware of Salem; father-in-law and wife, Tom and Lana Dooley of Roanoke; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kevin T. and Levita Dooley; nieces and nephews, Kate, Kelsey and Nolan Webb of Roanoke County, Amanda and Abigail Dooley of Goodview. Also surviving are aunts, one uncle and a number of cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Cave Spring Baptist Church 1 p.m. Monday with Pastor Rick Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's South Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cave Spring Baptist Church Building Fund or Cave Spring Rescue Squad.
