Ms. Sandra Curry was born on May 26, 1959 in McDuffie County, GA to Mable Bradshaw and the late Robert Gunter.

At an early age, Sandra joined the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Dearing, GA. She was educated in the McDuffie County public school system of GA. Sandra worked as a caregiver and housekeeper as long as her health permitted. Her favorite hobbies to past the time were: crafting, sewing, gardening, and loving-on people. The highlight of Sandra’s life was spending time with her family.

On July 25, 2017, Sandra was called home by our precious Lord and Savior. She transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her oldest son, Johnathan Curry-Smith; her grandparents, Ray & Jessie Curry.

Her memories are forever cherished by: a daughter, Tiffany Smith (Antonio Pounds) of Evans, GA; a son, Herman (Joy) Smith of Evans, GA; five grandchildren, De’Jarvias Ramsey of Thomson, GA, Justin S. Elam of Evans, GA, Joshua C. Smith of Grovetown, GA, Zo´e L. Smith of Hockenhiem, Germany and Kayden L. Stefan of Sulzbach, Germany; four great-grandchildren, Sakari Bonner, Raniyah Bonner, Aubree Brown, all of Thomson, GA and Johnathan Haynes of Augusta, GA; her mother, Mable Bradshaw (Bill McCord) of Thomson, GA; three sisters, Bobbie Ann (Willie) Franklin, Angela Curry and Lillie Mae Bradshaw, all of Thomson, GA; three brothers, Patrick Gunter, Calvin (Janie) Bradshaw, both of Thomson, GA and Robert (LeVonder) Bradshaw of Dearing, GA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
