Beloved wife, Doris Sloan Patterson, 92, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2017. She was born December 6, 1924in Titus County, Texas to Finney and Nora Sloan. Doris was a member of Piney Baptist Church. She was a beloved aunt who loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.
She is predeceased by her parents and brothers, Floyd Sloan, Monroe Sloan, Arthur Sloan, Troy Sloan and Lee Sloan.
Loving survivors include her husband of almost 58 years, Dee Patterson; nieces, Brenda Branch, Janet Smith, Vicki DeLaughter, Sandra Ann Graham, Joyce Fox, Virginia Toland, Rose Meadow, Liska Yeager, Betty Jo Dickey and Marie Vetsch; nephews, Warren Stacks, Terry Stacks, Terry Joe Branch, Joey Branch, Brian Branch, Wayne Sloan and Nathan Sloan; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation is 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Piney Baptist Church with Brother Larry Catcher officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Joey Branch, Brian Branch, Terry Stacks, Warren Stacks, Wayne Murder and Billy Abbott.
