THE LANDINGHAM RITES
Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Lou Landingham, 58 years old, who died last Sunday at her home at Sheldon of a heart attack, were held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Milford church, the Rev. Mill, Lamar, officiating. Interment was in the Howell cemetery.
The songs, "The Old Rugged Cross," "In The Garden," and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," were sung by Mesdames Wilbur Day, Pot [sic, Pat] Gibbs, Harley Ready, Gerald Lee, and L. Christenson, accompanied by Miss Donna Mae Gardner.
Flower girls were: Mesdames Jim Ligon, Forrest Bullock, Sam Chapman, Prine Thomas, Ora Faubion, Ellis Chapman,Carl Neas, Lola Lee, John Piper and Oscar Wingers.
Their pallbearers were: E. I. Faubion, Ora Faubion, Carl Neas, G. A. Isenhower, Charles Beckley and Jim Ligon.
