Daughter of Thomas and Cornelia Welton DeWoody, she was widowed, lived at 1817 Parade St, Erie, died at 122 E. 10th St, Erie, of heart disease, per death certificate 2723, whose informant was Mrs. Thelma Fisher of 1817 Parade St, and which gives her father's name as John Moore, who was actually her step-father. Buried Feb 3 1950.

Per Pennsylvania Marriage Certificate, on Oct 28 1902 at Kellys Station, Armstrong Co, PA, Grace E. DeWoody of Franklin, PA, 23, daughter of Thomas and Eliza DeWoody, married Perry E. Fennel of Kellys Station, PA, 20, an electrician, son of Alex and Jennie Fennel.

Per Birth Certificate 28959, Thelma Fennell was born Mar 2 1906 at 404 Atlantic Ave, Franklin, to Perry E. Fennell, 24, an electrician, born in Armstrong Co, PA, and Grace DeWoody Fennell, 24, housewife, born in Venango Co, PA; their 3rd child, 2 now living.

Mrs. Grace Fennell of Erie, formerly of Franklin, died in Erie Tuesday following an illness of seven months.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Hupp Fisher and Mrs. C. M. Smith of Erie; 7 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, A. J. DeWoody, Mrs. E. B. Ferringer, Mrs. Fred Baker, and Mrs. Homer J. Moore of Franklin, Milo DeWoody, Oil City, and Mrs. John Fullerton, Kewanna, IL.

Services will be at 2 pm Friday in Brugger Funeral Home, 9th and Wallace Streets, Erie.
