Ellis F. Bell, 94 years old, formerly of Ecumenical Community, Harrisburg, Pa. passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the VA Hospice Unit, Lebanon VA. He was born June 4, 1923 in Mill Creek to Elmer and Rebecca (Yocum) Bell. He was an Army Veteran of WW II, retired from Bethlehem Steel and a member of Pine Grove Church of God. He enjoyed playing and singing music, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and many other talents.

Ellis was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl (Gardner) Bell and is survived by sons Frederick E. Bell (Margaret) of Hummelstown and Glenn E. Bell (Judith) of Doylesburg; daughter Carolyn M. Fields of Marysville; sisters Janet Heisey of New Bloomfield and Ruth McGowan of Harrisburg; grandchildren Brian and Samuel Fields and Jon C. Bell and 6 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonita Pearl Bell and six brothers and sisters.

Services will be held on Monday, Nov 13 from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a viewing from 11 AM until the funeral service at 12 PM. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown with Military Honors by the Perry County Military Honor Guard.
