Sandra Jo Strickland, 77, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 7:10 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN.
She was born on Sunday, August 11, 1940, in Grant County, IN. She married Kenneth E. Strickland on Sunday, March 09, 1958 at the First Christian Church, Marion, IN.
Sandra was a 1958 graduate of Marion High School. She furthered her education at Ball State University, Muncie, IN. where she received a Bachelor ’s degree and also a Masters and graduated Cum Laude.
Sandra was a very dedicated teacher. She had taught at the Montpelier Elementary as a 4th grade teacher for 28 years. She truly had a love for teaching and had spent her life focusing on just that. She was a member of ISTA, and Tri Kappa. She enjoyed playing Bridge, traveling, and spending her winters in Florida.

She was preceded in death by her Father - Charles E. Ellsworth, and Mother - Maryann (Wright) Ellsworth.
