Confined at Camp Chase,5/14/1863. Transferred to Point Lookout, 11/30/1863. Confined to Point Lookout (Maryland), 12/4/1863. Paroled and exchanged, 11/1/1864. Died at Greensboro Hospital No. 12, Greensboro, NC 6/14/1865, chronic diarrhea. Buried; Confederate Section, Olivet Cemetery, Moorefield, WV.
