Susan J. Wiese, 61, of Hopedale, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at 3:05 pm Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born February 3, 1956 to Roman and Gloria Baker. She first married Johnny M. Wiese in 1974 and was married for 28 years. She has been with Michael Irvin for the past 14 years.

Susan was a very devoted and loving CNA for 28 years. Throughout her career, she worked for Hopedale Nursing Home, Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton and Apostolic Christian Nursing Home in Eureka.

She was the most kind-hearted, giving, loving person. She enjoyed being with family and loved ones, cooking for her family, gardening, and canning. Her pickles have always been a family treasure. Susan also had a love for playing Bingo, Yahtzee, and Farmville.

She was the best mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

She is survived by many loved ones. Her boyfriend, Michael Irvin of Hopedale; four daughters, Michelle (Joseph) Kephart of Bloomington, Rebecca (Kraig) Beeney of Pekin, Nicolle Wiesse of Decatur, and Kattie Wiese (Matt Tackett) of Hopedale; nine grandchildren, Chance Wiese of Minier, Samantha Ross, Kendra Kephart, Alexandria Kephart, all of Bloomington, Peyton Tackett, Kaiden Tackett, and Kallie Tackett, all of Hopedale, Trinity Green of Decatur, and Konstance Beeney of Pekin; two brothers, Glenn (Debbie) Baker of Iowa and Dennis Baker.; her best friend, Sheri Bissell of Hopedale; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Roman Baker, at an early age; her mother and stepfather, Gloria and Tony Ganze, who helped raise her; one brother, Dale Baker; one grandson, Quinn Kephart; and one granddaughter, Kaydence Beeney.

A visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Monday, November 13, 2017 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Hopedale. A celebration of Susan's life will be held after the visitation at Now and Then, Hopedale, IL. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
