On November 9, 2017, passed David Hugh Negley, devoted husband of Kathrine Rabe (nee Sandin); loving father of Rachel Negley, Jacob (Angie) Negley, Benjamin (Nicole) Negley, Nathan (Christina) Rabe, Ari (Jennifer) Rabe, and Sarah (Nagaty "Prince") Mahmoud; beloved brother of Shirley (Allen Sr.) Bozzell, Janice (Jerry) Tucker and Joe (Chris) Negley; beloved grandfather of Arianna and Aiden Negley, Yohannah, Shoshanah, and Abigail Rabe, Harper Cremens, and Sophia Mahmoud; dear son of the late Charles and Thelma Negley.

David Negley obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at Washington Bible College in Lanham, Maryland, where he studied between 1985 and 2001. From 1985 to 2007, he served on the Elder board at Emmanuel Messianic Jewish Congregation in Columbia, Maryland.

For 10 years, he directed the education program at Emmanuel, where his duties included the creation of a program for training Jews and Gentiles on how to integrate together into a common community. He is the author of Ephesians: The View from the Mishkan (Xlibris, 2014) and the host of a weekly online radio program called “The View from the Mishkan” on Hebrew Nation Radio.
