John N. Moore of Franklin RD 3 died at the home of his son, Homer, at Sugarcreek at 5 am Monday. He was born March 8, 1851 in Crawford County, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Moore.
He spent most of his life in Venango County, and was a stonemason by trade.
On June 8, 1889, he married Eliza C. DeWoody, who died June 1, 1936.
Surviving are two sons, Edward of Pleasantville, and Homer; and six step-children.
Services will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Homer's home with Rev. B. E. Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Townville.
