Died at his home two miles north of New Cambria, August 12, 1921, Harry F. Hughes, age 32 years. He leaves a wife and two children, father, mother and one sister. Harry was a good man, big hearted, and loved by all who knew him. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church Sunday at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. L. A. Thompson of Bethany assisted by H. M. Gardner. The words of his text were: "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept." 1st Corinthians, 15-20.
The floral offerings were beautiful and in profusion. It shows the high esteem in which the deceased was held. The bereaved ones have the deep sympathy of the whole community.
