Paul Bryan 72 of North Scituate went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 6, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Virginia (Ginnie) Kovolinco Bryan. He was born in Providence to the late Marcus and Alice (Baird) Bryan. Paul served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, later attending Columbia International University. Paul pastored churches in Maine, Pennsylvania, and Kansas; he spent many years serving in mission in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He leaves his son, Stephen Bryan of NY; two brothers, Mark and David Bryan of RI; and four sisters, Gini Hoehner of MA, and Lila Hanson, Beth Levalley and Mary Appia all of RI. He was the grandfather to five granddaughters and one grandson and one great granddaughter. Paul spent his life spreading the word of God to all whom he knew, he was a notable woodworker, avid golfer, and simply enjoyed travelling with his wife. Calling hours will be November 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in the Winfield and Sons Funeral Home, Rt 116, Scituate. Burial will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association – Rhode Island Chapter – 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906
