Marguerite "Marg" Miller, age 94, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Miller Merry Manor, Marion, Indiana.

Marguerite was born September 28, 1923 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late William and Della (Watkins) Reed and her biological father was Wilbur Raypholtz. She married Verling Miller on December 15, 1943 and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2003.

Marg attended Ball State University. She was a former real estate broker in the states of New York, Arkansas and Indiana until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Arnold Miller (Ana) of Denver, Colorado and William “Bill” Miller of Marion; daughter, Dr. Verlene “Vee” Herrington (Scott) of New York City, NY; special children, Marcia Porter and Dr. Jan Mayer; and 8 grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Pat Crouch, special child, Attorney Eric Mayer and grandson, Will Herrington.

Friends and family may call from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2017 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Charlie Hall officiating.

Burial will take place in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
