Vivian was born April 15, 1929, in Dawson, Iowa, to Lloyd and Nettie (Wolfe) Tolle. She worked in claims for Heritage Insurance for 25 years, and was fondly known as the “Menards Lady” where she later worked for several years. After leaving Menards, she worked as a greeter for Home Depot where customers would frequently recognize her and ask “Aren’t you the Menards Lady?” She enjoyed cooking for and entertaining her family.
Vivian is survived by her children, Kenneth (Darla) Stone of West Des Moines, Charlotte Draman of Casey, and David Stone of Urbandale; six grandchildren, James Stone of West Des Moines, Scott Peters, of Omaha, Nebraska, Jessica (Jim) Ruebsam of St. Louis, Missiouri, Daniel Draman of Casey, Iowa, Christopher Draman of Ankeny, Iowa and Megan Draman of Audubon, Iowa; nine great-grandchildren, Dylan (Codi) Peters of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Ethan Peters of Omaha, Nebraska, Megan Peters of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Trenton & Matthew Stone (twins) of West Des Moines, Harold & Rosie Ruebsam (twins) of St Louis, MO, Charlie Ruebsam of St Louis, MO and Kacen Dramen of Casey, IA; one great-great-grandson Gabe Peters of Council Bluffs, IA, and her loving spynx cat, Tux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents; her siblings, LaVonne Goodman, Eugene Tolle, and Donald Tolle; and by her son-in-law Raymond Draman.
The family will receive friends from 3 - 5 p.m. Sunday, November 12, at Iles-Westover Chapel.
