She was born in Dakota City, Neb., to Elmer Jim and Virgia (Minton) Taylor. She graduated from Olympia High School in Olympia, Wash.
She married Thomas C. Goins on July 14, 1945.
Mrs. Goins enjoyed sewing, fishing and travel. She was a member of Tracyton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Taylor; a sister, Lorraine Ashwell; and a grandchild, Pokey Goins.
