Flora worked at Crystal Laundry in Jonesboro and was previously a custodian at J.C. Knight School. She enjoyed working puzzles, collecting copper and dolls, and going to the casino and thrift stores.
She is survived by her children, Sheila M. Twichell, Gas City, Brenda K. (Gary) Dalzell, Frankton, William "Bill" Kevin (Cheryl) Lawson, Huntington, Michael Wayne Lawson, Marion, and Linda S. (Wayne) Leming, Marion; 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and best friend, Connie Brand.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Ann Elkins; five sisters and 8 brothers; and granddaughter, Karen Elkins.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Flora's funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Pastor Henry Favorite will be officiating with burial following at Jefferson Cemetery.
