Viola J. (Cariglio) Jordan, 93, of Ravenna, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014.

Viola was born to parents, Lorenzo and Lucretia Cariglio on March 21, 1920 in Ravenna, Ohio. She was a homemaker who enjoyed managing the home and raising her children. Viola was fortunate to have had a wonderful relationship with her husband, John E. Jordan. She was also a life-long member of Immaculate Conception Parish.

Viola is survived by her sons, Joseph (Jannie) Jordan, John (Ollie) Jordan and William Jordan. Surviving also are her grandchildren, Angelina (Kevin) Jalensky and Elizabeth Jordan and her two great-grandchildren, Luke and Logan. She also leaves her sister, Lillian Rothermel; her brother, Nunzio Cariglio; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Edward Jordan; and her siblings, Michael Cariglio, George Cariglio, Joseph Cariglio, Nick Cariglio; her sister, Mary Cariglio; and her grandson, Nicholas Jordan.

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Monsignor Michael Cariglio will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 the Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Becky Garro for her kindness, friendship and Eucharistic ministry to Viola and to Robinson Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
