Marlene R. Cox, 62, of Louisville, entered eternal life on Saturday at Baptist Hospital East. She was the former Marlene R. King. She is survived by her husband, C.D. Cox; two sons and their wives, Donald and Leandra Cox and Robert and Sherri Cox; a son, Tommy King; her mother, Sara King; a sister, Brenda Hinton; and five stepdaughters, Maggie, Debbie, Donna, Karen and Lynn. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren and great-grand-children. Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Monday.
