A Jean Bell

1920 ~ 2017

Biloxi

Jean Bell, age 97 years, of Biloxi, passed away November 8, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert M. Shelton and Lena A. Tull Shelton; and her husband, Wilbur N. Bell.

Jean is survived by her children, Mike Bell and Karen Kuhn, both of Biloxi; her grandchildren, Rachel Bell, Craig (Marlo) Kuhn, and Kenneth (Shawn) Kuhn; great grandchildren, Katherine Kuhn, Kristen Kuhn, Kenneth Kuhn, II, and Shelby Kuhn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jean worked for many years at the White House Hotel and Buena Vista Hotel, where she served as Assistant Convention Manager and personal assistant to Jimmy Love. She was also a member of the Board of Officers of WLOX. She was involved in numerous Carnival Associations, and loved traveling in their camper. She was also a very caring homemaker and loved playing bridge with friends. Jean had a fond love of the Back Bay of Biloxi and thoroughly enjoyed living there.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Biloxi National Cemetery.
