Mark Taylor, 57 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Tyler, Texas.

A graveside service has been set for Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Evergreen Cemetery pavilion with Rev. Doug Holt officiating. The family will receive friends at the gravesite thirty minutes prior to service time.

He was born in Gainesville, Texas on November 29, 1959 to R.W. “Dub” and Patsy Ann Price Taylor. He graduated from Paris High School in 1978, then from North Texas State University in 1983. Mark lived in Dallas until 5 years ago where he worked at Delta Airlines, then Southwestern Airlines. When he moved back to Paris he began working at Orr Honda. He was a member of the Paris Church of God. Mark loved to play tennis.

He is survived by his sister, Cathy Taylor Ballard; brothers, Randy Taylor, Danny Taylor and wife Donna; nieces and nephews, Brian Ballard and wife Heather and their children, Landon and Caroline; Karen Ballard, Kevin Ballard, Dane Taylor and wife Heather and their child, Kole; aunts, Sue Carico and husband Bob, Jane Taylor; several cousins; two long-time friends whom was especially fond of, Anna Maria O’Donohue, and Janice Wilkerson and her family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was well liked and loved by all who knew him. Although he is gone from us we will always hold his memories dear to our hearts. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”.
