Brenda Gay Sparks, 68 of Monticello died Tuesday at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. She was born February 16, 1949 in Drew County to the late Milford Laron, Sr. and Edna Maria Crews Barnes. She was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Eddie Earl Sparks; and a brother, Julius Barnes.
Survivors include 2 brothers, Milford (Diann) Barnes of Monticello and Gary (Judy) Barnes of Warren; 3 sisters, Ann (Rusty) Byrd of Warren, Nelda Smith of Monticello and Cindy (Tom) Lawson of Monticello.
Graveside services are 2:30PM Saturday at Butler/Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Star City with Bro. Ray Hearron officiating. Visitation is 12:00-2:00PM Saturday at Griffin Funeral Service.
