Glenna Opal Elliott Anderson, 80, of Alvin, went to be with her Lord on November 5, 2017.
Opal, as she was known to all, was born on January 25, 1937 in Palacios, Texas to parents Leonard Monroe and Lesta Mildred (Dorris) Elliott.
She attended Grace Episcopal Church in Alvin and was a proud member of the Alter Guild and Vestry, Library League, Meals on Wheels, Gulf Coast Quilting Guild and Lakeview Quilting Guild. Opal loved spending time with her family and created many special memories that will be treasured by all that knew her.
Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Anderson; parents, Leonard and Lesta Elliott; and grandson, Patrick Wayne Anderson.
She is survived by her sons, Gilbert Anderson and wife Heather, Kenneth Anderson and wife Tammy, and David Anderson, all of Alvin; brother, Leonard Elliott and wife Shirley of Houston; grandson, Kaleb K. Anderson and wife Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Michael C. Anderson, Korilynn Isabella Anderson and Alice Rose Anderson; many family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Grace Episcopal Church, 200 W. Lang St., Alvin, TX 77511.
