Mr. Richard Myatt O’Dom, 51, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017, after a lengthy illness. A private graveside service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, at Forest Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Larry Williams of Broadmoor Baptist Church.
Mr. O’Dom was a native of Shreveport, LA and a resident of Karnack, TX for 5 years. He was a graduate of Captain Shreve High School and received a Business Degree from Bossier Parish Community College. He worked in the oil blending and packaging business for 25 years. He loved living in the country and working on his farm.
He is survived by his family, Lori, Garrett, and Grace; his parents, Richard W. O’Dom and Sarah Myatt O’Dom; one sister, Beth O’Dom Knight and her sons, Grant and Richard; one brother, Will O’Dom and wife, Kara and their daughters, Kate and Payton.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Gowen, Rodney Joe, Scott Hilburn, and Scott Alford.
