Funeral services celebrating the life of Cody C. Fisher, “Jr.”, will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, November 10, 2017, at New Hope Free Methodist Church, Deville, with Reverend John T. Ryder officiating. Burial will follow in Big Island Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
Visitation will be observed at the church on Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
Cody C. Fisher, Jr., 55, of Deville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at his residence.
Jr. was a carpenter by trade and an avid hunter and sportsman. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cody Fisher, Sr., grandparents, Odron and Leona Cole Fisher; grandfather, Walter “Muck” Roberts; step grandparents, Lou Fisher and Bobby Freeman; nephew, Zeke Ebert; brother in law, Steve Foster and son in law, Joey Deville.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughter, Amanda Fisher Deville; mother, Dora Roberts Fisher; grandmother, Dora Ann Smith Freeman; grandchildren, Kira, Kain, Cody, Little Joey and Abre; brothers, Walter Fisher and Jody Fisher (Chantel); sisters, Debra F. Ebert and Kay F. Myers (Bo) and a host of other family members and friends.
