Phyllis worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for Ankenman Tax Service. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Aurora. Phyllis was a past Tri Kappa member, as well as a past member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Moose Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of Reach to Recovery through the American Cancer Society support group.
Survivors include her son, Douglas (Barbara) Hueseman of Aurora, IN; a stepdaughter, Holly (Michael) Dunham of Malvern, OH; grandchildren: Michael (Ashley) Hueseman, Brandy (Chris) Miller, Amber (Josh) Shipley, Ryan Hueseman; great-grandchildren: Hunter and Nicholas Hueseman, Kaylee and Emily Miller and Lucas and Jonathan Shipley.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hueseman Jr; husband, Gerald "Jerry" Harrison; siblings: Janie Bloom and Herschel Netherland.
