Sharon F. Bennett, 76 of Pana passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born March 30, 1941 in Pana the daughter of Harry and Kathryn May (Gallup) Beeson, Sr. She married Jack Cooper and he preceded her in death. She then married Thomas Bennett and he preceded her in death on August 10, 2005.
She had lived in Pana her entire life and had worked for Mallory’s and as a Certified Nursing Aid at Heritage Health for many years. She enjoyed puzzle books, playing cards and most of all spending time with her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter Cathy Cooper of Pana; Step-Children Larry (Susan) Bennett of Minnesota and Patty Bennett of Shelbyville; Grandchildren Rachael Purkes and Ryan Purkes: Step-Grandchildren Derek Jackson, Stephen Bennett, James Strowmatt, Jake Bennett, Meghan Bennett and Tommy Bennett; seven Step Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, son Jad Odfrey Cooper; Step-Grandson Jerry Bennet; and siblings Harry Beeson, Jr., Sadie Miller, Norma Lebon, Delmar Beeson, Thomas Beeson, Shirley Hague, and Glen Beeson.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 13, 2017 at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Brown officiating. Cremation Rites will follow the service and private graveside services will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
