She was born Dec. 31, 1915, at home (Sawdust Hill homestead) in Poulsbo, to Joseph Ravet and Emma (Miller). She graduated from Poulsbo Union High School in 1932 and later attended Edison Tech. School in 1954, and earned a degree in watch-making. She was a foster parent, watch-maker and retired as a civil service secretary (NAVCOMMSTA) in Kodiak, AK. She was a member of the Little Norway Grandmother’s Club and Bainbridge First Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, art painting, gardening, growing raspberries.
