The funeral for Lester H. Wilson, 70, Route 2, Poynette, who died Tuesday in a Madison hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Schroeder Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison.
Mr. Wilson was born in Vernon County and was a retired employe of the North Western Road.
Suriviving in Madison is a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Boodry, 511 S. Baldwin St.
Other survivors include his wife Margie, whom he married in 1920; two sons, Charles, Columbus; and Paul, Janesville; four other daughters, Mrs. Robert Haas, rural Poynette; Mrs. Marvin Coy, Cambridge; Mrs. Donald Strittmatter, Mt. Clemens, Mich.; and Mrs. Lois Burkhart, Culver City, Calif.; two brothers, Lawrence, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Merrill, La Crosse; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Burr, La Crosse; and Mrs. Guy Allen, Viroqua; 26 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm. Thursday. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park here.
