Phyllis Ruth (Ringle) Watkins, 94, passed away Friday November 3, 2017 at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. She was born October 29, 1923 to Charles and Esther Corrine Ringle in Toledo. Phyllis was a member of the 1942 graduating class from Scott High School. Her first job was at France Stone Co., before working at several other area businesses, eventually retiring from 5/3 Bank (First National) in 1985. Phyllis married James “Jim” Harrison Watkins on October 20, 1945, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed raising her children, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, working in her yard and taking walks with her neighbors.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Ron (Kathy) Watkins; daughter, Sharon (Jeff) Lowry; 5 grandchildren, Jill (Tony) Bennett, Stacy (Mike) Tremains, Amy (Mark) Crouch, Brian Lowry, Sarah Lowry (Dave McLaughlin); 7 great grandchildren, Justin and Sami Bennett, Jessica and Amanda Tremains, Cole Crouch, Maude and Sylvie McLaughlin. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Friends are invited to visit from 2:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Thursday at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where services will be held 10:00a.m. Friday.
